MFR Voice is a former refugee-led organisation based in Marlborough, New Zealand.
We design and deliver education programmes that help former refugee communities participate confidently in New Zealand.
Our work focuses on three key areas:

We support children, young people, families, and community leaders to understand how New Zealand systems work, build confidence and practical skills, and participate in decisions that affect their lives.
Our vision is for former refugees to be active participants and leaders in their communities.
Our mission is to create opportunities for former refugees to learn, contribute, and shape the future of Marlborough and Aotearoa New Zealand.
We believe meaningful participation happens when people have access to information, opportunities to build skills, and confidence that their voices matter.
As a refugee-led organisation, lived experience is at the centre of everything we do.
We work alongside communities, schools, local government, and other organisations to co-design solutions that respond to community priorities.
Former refugees guide our priorities and shape our programmes.
Everyone deserves the opportunity to participate and belong.
Strong partnerships create stronger communities.
We support people to share their knowledge, experience, and ideas.
We believe education creates pathways to participation and opportunity.
